Environmental Responsibility
Printers contain a mix of materials that require proper handling: plastics, metals, electronic components, and potentially hazardous substances like toner and ink. We ensure maximum material recovery while keeping harmful substances out of Houston-area landfills.
Our process separates steel, aluminum, copper, and precious metals from circuit boards for recycling. Plastics are sorted by polymer type for proper reprocessing. Toner and ink are handled according to environmental regulations.
Common Questions
Do you accept printers that don’t work?
Yes, we accept all printers regardless of conditionβworking, broken, or obsolete.
Should I remove the toner/ink cartridges first?
It’s not requiredβwe can handle them. But if you have unused cartridges you’d like to keep for a new printer, feel free to remove them.
How do I know if my printer has a hard drive?
Most multi-function copiers and high-end network printers have internal storage. When in doubt, we’ll assess your equipment and perform data destruction on any storage components found.
What’s included in the Certificate of Destruction?
Our certificate includes the date of destruction, equipment serial numbers, description of items, destruction method used (wiping standard or physical destruction), and authorized signatures.
