Environmental Commitment
We believe responsible recycling is both an obligation and an opportunity — to recover valuable materials, protect communities, and preserve our planet.
Our Environmental Policy
EverTrade Electronics is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of electronic waste through responsible recycling, material recovery, and continual improvement of our environmental practices. We operate in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations — including EPA guidelines and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements.
We pledge to maximize material recovery and reuse, prevent pollution, and ensure that no hazardous electronic waste is exported to developing nations. Our goal is to divert ≥95% of all received materials from landfill through reuse, refurbishment, and responsible recycling.
Our Core Environmental Commitments
Every decision we make is guided by these principles.
Maximize Material Recovery
We prioritize reuse and refurbishment before recycling. Functional components — RAM, CPUs, drives, and boards — are tested, graded, and returned to productive use, extending the lifecycle of valuable materials.
Minimize Landfill Waste
We maintain a strict zero-landfill policy for electronics. Our target is ≥95% diversion from landfill through material recovery, commodity recycling, and responsible downstream processing.
Responsible Downstream Management
We vet every downstream vendor. All recycling partners must hold R2, e-Stewards, or ISO 14001 certification. We audit the chain to ensure materials are processed responsibly.
No Hazardous Export
We do not export non-functional electronic waste or hazardous materials to developing nations. All end-of-life processing occurs within the United States through certified facilities.
Pollution Prevention
Our facility implements spill prevention, proper hazardous material handling, and waste minimization practices to protect the Sugar Land community and local waterways.
Regulatory Compliance
We comply with EPA, TCEQ, and all applicable environmental regulations. Our facility is registered with TCEQ as an authorized computer equipment recycler in the State of Texas.
How We Recycle Responsibly
Every piece of equipment follows a documented process from intake to final disposition.
Secure Collection
Equipment is picked up or received at our Sugar Land facility with documented chain of custody.
Data Destruction
All data-bearing devices undergo NIST 800-88 compliant sanitization before any further processing.
Testing & Grading
Functional equipment is tested and graded for refurbishment and resale, maximizing reuse.
Component Harvesting
Valuable components (RAM, CPUs, boards) are recovered for secondary market reuse.
Commodity Recycling
Remaining materials — metals, plastics, circuit boards — are sorted and sent to certified smelters and processors.
Documentation
Certificates of Destruction and recycling reports are provided for your compliance records.
Materials We Recover
Electronics contain valuable and sometimes hazardous materials. We ensure each is handled appropriately.
Our Impact
Measurable results from our commitment to responsible recycling.
Electronic waste kept out of Texas landfills since 2024
Of all materials recovered through reuse and recycling
Of non-functional e-waste to developing nations
Regulatory Registration
EverTrade Electronics is registered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) as a Computer Equipment Recycler, and complies with all applicable EPA regulations.
Continual Improvement
Environmental responsibility is not a destination — it's a journey. We are committed to continual improvement of our environmental management practices through regular review, goal-setting, and measurement.
Annual Review
Environmental objectives and targets reviewed annually by management.
Metrics Tracking
Weight tracking, diversion rates, and downstream disposition monitored monthly.
Vendor Audits
Downstream partners evaluated annually for certification and compliance.
