What is E-Waste?

EverTrade is Houston's home for free, secure electronics recycling. Electronic waste (e-waste) is any discarded electronic device. Houston generates thousands of tons of e-waste every year from businesses upgrading IT equipment, residents replacing old devices, and organizations decommissioning outdated technology. Improper disposal creates environmental hazards and data security risks, which is why responsible electronics recycling matters.

The Problem

E-waste in landfills leaches lead, mercury, and cadmium into groundwater. Hard drives in dumpsters expose personal and business data. Houston's rapid growth means more e-waste every year.

The Solution

EverTrade responsibly processes accepted electronics. We recover reusable materials, securely handle data-bearing devices, and keep accepted e-waste out of Houston landfills. Most drop-offs are free, with pickup available for qualifying business loads.
