TV Recycling
Sugar Land & Houston drop-off for every kind of TV — modern flat-panel, plasma, CRT, and projection. Transparent flat-rate processing fees by size; office and bulk pickup available.
EverTrade Electronics recycles every kind of TV — modern flat-panel LCD, LED, OLED, and QLED sets, plus older plasma, tube (CRT), and rear-projection TVs. Unlike most electronics (which we recycle for free), TVs carry a small flat-rate processing fee because their leaded glass, mercury backlights, and bonded panels require specialized handling and downstream recyclers. Whether it is one set from your living room or fifty conference-room displays from an office refresh, we handle the whole process — pickup, secure handling, and proper end-of-life recycling.

Why Recycle TVs?
- CRT TVs contain 4–8 pounds of lead per set, which can leach into groundwater in landfills
- Older flat-panel TVs use mercury backlights that need careful, regulated handling
- TV cabinets are full of recoverable copper, aluminum, and circuit board material
- Texas TCEQ rules and most local trash haulers prohibit putting TVs in regular trash

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does tvs recycling cost?
It is a flat-rate processing fee per unit: TVs (55" or smaller) $15, TVs (larger than 55") $20, CRT Monitors / Tube TVs $25. No surprise charges and no hidden environmental fees. The full list is also published on our Accepted Items page.
Do you accept broken tvs?
Absolutely. We accept tvs in any condition — working, broken, water-damaged, cracked screens, or missing parts. There is still value in the materials.
What happens to my tvs after drop-off?
First, any data storage is securely wiped or destroyed. Working items may be refurbished for resale. Non-working items are disassembled and sorted for material recovery — metals, plastics, and circuit boards are each processed separately.
