EverTrade Electronics Launches Redesigned Website for Free Electronics Recycling and Certified Data Destruction in Houston and Sugar Land
SUGAR LAND, TX — January 2026 — EverTrade Electronics, the family-run e-waste recycler at 10100 Belknap Rd in Sugar Land, has rebuilt its website from the ground up. The new evertradeelectronics.com replaces a WordPress site that had grown alongside the business since 2017 and was no longer keeping pace with the call volume coming in from Fort Bend County and Greater Houston.
The rebuild was driven by a single problem: roughly half of the inbound calls were people asking the same handful of questions — "Do you take CRTs?" "Is pickup actually free?" "Do I get a certificate?" The new site answers those up front, on the relevant page, instead of burying them in a contact form.
What Changed
Residential and business paths split apart
A homeowner with a single old laptop and a 200-employee office decommissioning a server room don't need the same page. The site now routes them separately on the homepage — into residential drop-off or business ITAD — with pricing and accepted-item lists that match each audience. CRT and TV recycling fees are listed before someone shows up at the door.
Service-area pages instead of one "Houston" page
Each city EverTrade serves now has its own page with directions, drop-off hours, and the equipment most commonly recycled there: Sugar Land, Houston, Katy, Missouri City, Stafford, and the rest of Fort Bend County. Sugar Land also has neighborhood-level pages for the larger master-planned communities.
Compliance documentation moved up front
For business customers, the data destruction page now spells out the NIST 800-88 wiping process, when EverTrade physically shreds drives instead of wiping, and what shows up on the certificate of destruction. A new certificate lookup tool lets recipients confirm a certificate against the issuing scan record.
Free working calculators, not lead magnets
Seven tools are live with no signup required: an ITAD ROI calculator, a breach risk calculator, a depreciation calculator, an environmental impact calculator, a HIPAA/PCI/NIST compliance checker, an R2-aligned readiness assessment, and a savings calculator.
Faster on a phone
The previous site averaged 4–6 second load times on mobile. The Next.js rebuild ships pages as static HTML where possible and lazy-loads the chat widget, cookie banner, and other non-critical components after the page is interactive.
What didn't change
Drop-off is still free for almost every household item. Business pickup is still free for qualifying loads. Hard drives are still wiped or shredded on-site, not shipped offsite to a third party. The phone number — (832) 777-3002 — and the zero-landfill commitment carry over from the old site.
