Why Recycle Laptops?

- Working laptops can be refurbished and donated to underserved communities
- Proper recycling prevents toxic materials like lead and mercury from contaminating soil
Data Security
Every laptop we receive undergoes NIST 800-88 compliant data wiping or physical drive destruction. Businesses receive a Certificate of Destruction documenting the serial number and sanitization method for each device.

Is laptops recycling really free?
Yes! There is no charge to recycle laptops at EverTrade Electronics. Just drive up during business hours — no appointment needed. Businesses can schedule free pickup for pallet-size loads or larger.
Do you accept broken laptops?
Absolutely. We accept laptops in any condition — working, broken, water-damaged, cracked screens, or missing parts. There is still value in the materials.
What happens to my laptops after drop-off?
First, any data storage is securely wiped or destroyed. Working items may be refurbished for resale. Non-working items are disassembled and sorted for material recovery — metals, plastics, and circuit boards are each processed separately.
